WHY ARE WE SELLING OFF AUSTRALIA TO FOREIGNERS?

We are  already overdeveloping Melbourne and ruining our lifestyle.  Also we don’t have the infrastructure to cope.  

 
It appears that the Federal government has relaxed the laws to let
temporary visa holders  purchase property and they do not have
to go through the Foreign Investment Review Board.

Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) says today  that Australia’s immigration rate is almost off the scale: 11.1 immigrants per thousand people per year. No other large country has anything like this figure. Even the other three Anglo-Celtic countries with pioneering complexes, Canada, the USA and New Zealand,  limp far behind, at 6.6, 3.3, and 3.1 respectively.

The Department of Planning states ad nausea that its high-density policies provide housing choice.   But one or the reasons for SOS resisting high-density housing being forced onto communities that do not want it is that this reduces choice for the housing that most people want – family friendly single-residential housing.

Matthew Guy opposes development opposite Serendip Sanctuary

Celebrations at Lara about  Serendip Sanctuary.   Matthew Guy is not approving the amendment  allowing development which  could ruin the Sanctuary.  The people are delighted -  the developer if furious.
This has been people power in action  and congratulations  to  Planning Minister  Matthew Guy for listening to the people.  Democracy as it should be.
